Our client is a blue-chip Defence organisation and is currently recruiting for a Sharepoint Developer/Designer who has strong software development experience utilising Microsoft development tools. Working on GIS related projects to be deployed in defence applications, you will be involved with designing and implementing MOSS2007 (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007) and producing technical design documentation.
In addition to diverse technology and project exposure, the Sharepoint Developer will act as an information conduit between internal technical and management groups; and particularly as a key stakeholder to various third party vendors. As such, the SharePoint Developer will possess superior verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with (and influence) audiences from both business and technology backgrounds.
To be successful for this role you will have strong scripting/programming skills MS SQL and a thorough understanding of MOSS2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (version 3). Other requirements will require the SharePoint developer to have experience in administering a SharePoint environment
Please note, that due to strict defence requirements, this role will require prospective sharepoint developers must be eligible to hold and maintain a clearance at the required level.
